DSC01185b The National Narrow Gauge Museum is situated in Valkenburh South Holland (not be mixed up with the far more famous Valkenburg in South Limburg). It originally started out as a hobbyist's club running some old stock on a defunct narrow gauge track in the dunes near Katwijk. When this was prohibited by the owner of that area, they came to the current location and over the years they extended both tracks and collection and now offer a reasonably complete overview of narrow gauge in the Netherlands. The station building depicted here is a replica of one of Nethelands' many narrow gauge tramway lines.
